Refund Policy

Please read our refund policy carefully before making a subscription purchase on Pathagar.

Effective Date: September 28, 2026

Important: All subscription purchases on Pathagar are final and non-refundable once payment is successfully processed and content access is granted.

1. Digital Content Policy

Pathagar Digital Library provides access to digital content — e-books and audiobooks — through a subscription model. Since digital content is made available instantly upon successful payment and cannot be “returned” in the traditional sense, we do not offer refunds or returns on any subscription purchase.

This is consistent with standard practice across digital content platforms and is permitted under applicable Indian consumer protection laws for digital goods.

2. No Refund Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

You change your mind after purchasing a subscription
You do not use the subscription during the subscription period
You upgrade to a higher plan — no credit is given for unused days of the previous plan
Your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
You delete your account before the subscription period ends
You forget to cancel before a renewal (currently Pathagar does not offer auto-renewal)
Technical issues on your device that are outside Pathagar’s control

3. Exceptions — When We May Issue a Refund

While our general policy is no refunds, we will consider refund requests only in the following exceptional circumstances:

You were charged twice for the same subscription period due to a technical error
Your payment was processed successfully but your subscription was not activated due to a verified error on our end
An unauthorised transaction was made on your account that you did not initiate

In these cases, please contact us at pathagar2025@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction with your payment details and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond within 7 business days.

4. Subscription Cancellation

Pathagar subscriptions are one-time purchases for a fixed period (1, 3, 6, or 12 months). There is no auto-renewal — your subscription simply expires at the end of the period and you choose whether to renew.

You may cancel your account at any time by deleting it from Account → Delete Account. However, no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period upon account deletion.

5. Payment Disputes

If you believe an error has occurred with your payment, we strongly recommend contacting us directly before raising a dispute with your bank or payment provider.

Chargebacks initiated without first contacting Pathagar may result in immediate suspension of your account pending investigation.

Your registered email address
The transaction amount and date
Your payment method (UPI / card / net banking)
A description of the issue
